Does paintball hurt?<\/strong><br \/>\nThis is the first question asked new players usually ask about the sport. Getting hit by a paintball typically \u201cstings\u201d or \u201csmarts\u201d a little, especially if shot inside of 20 feet and directly on your skin. Typically, this will result in a small welt or bruise. The best comparison for what it feels like is snapping yourself with a rubber band.<br \/>\nIf this bothers you, you can wear extra protective padding, such as gloves, chest protectors and neck protectors.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Do we still play if it&#8217;s raining?<\/strong><br \/>\nWe play paintball whatever the weather, in case of the thunderstorm we provide you the shelter, so no problem. All the equipment is also weather resistent.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. What clothing should I wear?<\/strong><br \/>\nYou need trainers and light wear, we provide all the gear for you.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Can we wear contact lenses or glasses under the mask?<\/strong><br \/>\nYes of course. No problem wearing glasses or lenses uder the mask.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Is protective mask really necessary?<\/strong><br \/>\nAbsolutely. Paintball without mask is PROHIBITED.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6. What about paintballs \u2013 how are they made, are they degradable?<\/strong><br \/>\nThe paintballs are made up of a biodegradable, non-toxic, water-soluble material that is held together with a gelatin capsule.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Paintball history<\/strong><br \/>\nPlayed first in June of 1981, paintball is a relatively young sport. Between the first idea of paintball 1977 and its eventual creation in 1981 three men by the name of Bob Gurnsey, Hayes Noel, and Charles Gaines worked to create the sport. The idea was to produce a stalking game that would challenge the participants to survive in the woods effectively escaping from other huntsman<br \/>\nThe original game, played in Sutton, New Hampshire, was based on the &#8220;capture the flag&#8221; game. Twelve players searched throughout an 80-acre piece of land for 12 flags of the same color.
